At first I thought I had arthritis. I didn’t know what it was, but it was something BAD. My hands ached all day – it was nearly constant. Worse in the morning.
I was ABOUT to start the trips to the doctor and find out why they hurt. Would I be put on pain meds? Would it be arthritis? What could be wrong with me… and then I figured it out.
As I was sleeping each night I put my arm under my head and pushed my hand over my head into the headboard. My hands lay smashed into the headboard all night. When I woke up my hands ached and I didn’t know why.
When I figured it out I put a pillow in front of the headboard. I still sleep that way but now my hands rest against something soft. They no longer hurt and I’m no longer worried.
I’m posting this in case you are experiencing pain. Maybe its something simple. Maybe that foot pain is from the way you wrap your foot around your desk chair? Maybe your hands hurt because of the headboard. Some things are a simple fix, and I encourage you to look for those.
